Practice Areas

Matt’s practice includes a variety of corporate commercial matters. He has been retained by New Brunswick businesses on corporate re-organizations, purchases and sales of shares and/or assets and various related transactions including secured financings. His litigation practice focuses primarily on creditors' rights in actions involving both secured and unsecured debts. Matt has appeared before all levels of the Courts in the Province of New Brunswick, including the New Brunswick Court of Appeal. He also conducts a general practice in the area of personal legal services including real property transactions, wills and estate planning and probate and administration of estates. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Matt worked in the pharmaceutical sector in sales, management and training. Matt currently puts his legal and educational background to use as a course instructor at the Law School of the University of New Brunswick.
