Andrew practices in Cox & Palmer's Halifax office. He obtained his law degree from Dalhousie Law School and he was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2009 after articling with the firm.
Andrew has a diverse litigation practice including insurance defence, medical defence and commercial litigation. He has appeared before the Nova Scotia Supreme Court and the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board. He acted as co-counsel to Retired Justice David Gruchy in the Knowledge House Inc. proceeding before the Nova Scotia Securities Commission. Andrew has acted for and against contractors in lien claims and has experience in other areas of real estate litigation, including defective construction and right-of-way disputes. He also assists clients in enforcing Nova Scotian, Canadian and international judgments in Nova Scotia.
Andrew is on the board of directors for Nocturne Art at Night Society, which organizes the popular Nocturne arts festival in downtown Halifax each fall. He was formerly on the board of directors of the Khyber Arts Society, which operates an artist-run centre and non-profit gallery.
